Influenced since her childhood by her extravagant family history and bold female figures, Margaux Aubin cultivates a strong taste for travel and activism. Coming from a Mediterranean culture, Margaux has faced discrimination based on her gender since childhood. She noticed early on, without fully understanding, the prejudices she endured and would continue to endure as a woman. These misunderstandings and questions then permeate her work. As a fearless activist, her work reflects a poetic and vindictive expression of her political commitments.

After leaving the Femen movement, she begins to incorporate performative art into her work. Taking risks and engaging with a street audience are essential for her to confront her ideas and challenge society. As a self-taught and multidisciplinary artist, Margaux chooses her medium to best serve her ideas. Sometimes plastic, sometimes visual, her work is also occasionally humorous. It is a way to approach issues of identity and discrimination with a rarely experienced lightness. Each of her artworks is an additional link that contributes to the chain of the egalitarian utopia she fights for.

As an eternal nomad, Margaux has already performed in France, Turkey, Israel, and Germany.
